Admittedly, it's not unusual for me to get a zap of static electricity when I get out of my car, but it seems like it's happening more frequently lately and the zaps are bigger. Also, I'm getting zapped sometimes from touching the walls of my home, which is new. The other day, I picked up my laptop computer and got a zap so big my finger actually hurt for several minutes and I had to do a hard reboot of the computer, which had hung. Well, I guess it's all just coincidence. Maybe practicing the MP is making me paranoid

I'm sure when the word gets around that there occultists zapping people the world would become a magocracy.

The communication thing is a better, less violent idea though.

This EXACT same thing has been happening to me ALL THE TIME lately! Though I'm not practicing the MP I can't walk around my apartment or come in contact with another human being without getting a shock from it! It's been happening for two weeks and it's gotten so bad I hesitate before I touch anything metal and am ALWAYS shocked! Weird. I know that's not much of a post but I had to say something, it's been driving me CRAZY.

I'm certain of it.

An example of my own youthful folly: After years of doing the MP ritual in various forms, the first time I ever did it using all Atziluthic colors I happened to be driving an old truck. (Several kinds of youthful folly consolidated here.) The moment I completed the first vibration of the Divine Name at Malkuth (pulling the force all the way through to the feet), there was a loud sound of metal breaking and the truck started seizing then slowing. The engine block had cracked at exactly that moment. It was frustratingly spectacular and, at the time, subjectively felt like a lightning bolt had flashed through me and struck the engine.

I've known a handful of people that, soon after beginning their first attentive ongoing practice of this ritual, starting having all of the small electrical appliances they owned fail over the period of, say, a month.

Of course, you have to rule out recent changes in weather. Has it recently been especially dry where you live and prone to increased static electriciity?
