I have been looking for some guidance online and have found these forums to be of interest so I figured I would joint.

I too enjoy said immanetizing of eschaton's. Have read most of RAW's books and find them thoroughly enjoyable. Read a lot of books; non-aristotlean orientation as much as I can remember to. Read a lot of Crowley's stuff, just starting to practice some preliminary Asana as a budding yogi. Been reading about illumination for about 10 years and have a pretty good theoretical depth and gravitas about the occult and its practice. Like Crowley because he attempts to dispense with as much garbage as he can (for example 8 lectures of yoga).

Finance professional, wife 2 kids, wife is christian and she accepts her hubby is a wee bit different in views toward things in general and life in particular. Big fan of Nietszche so far.

Here to learn and add to the knowledge base. Went to an OTO meeting once, but too far away from where I live. As an aside, interested if anyone has experience with Gurdjieff's practices or belong to a group. More interested if anyone has practiced Asana and reached success.

Absolutely...by success, what do you mean? Do you mean by Crowley's one hour standard?

I can say that I've enjoyed intermediate success in Asana, and it has changed my life...alongside the other practices laid out in the G.D. of the A.'.A.'. With Asana in particular, I highly recommend a daily practice; that is, if you feel so inclined.
