This verse brought back a conversation I had many, many years ago with my much older sister. A man had been wooing her for quite some time, laviously and very passionately, yet he was no Adonis, and she....well IMo she was a snob. But anyways, after much ado, she finally relented and allowed him, ahem, to go down on her.

She told me that for about an hour he loved her, but she would not allow herself to come to orgasm. She said that she would not give her self to him.

I recall feeling horrible for this man, who was kind, and loving, and generous and in love with a shallow cruel C**t.

It's funny, the man who gave me The Law, was also the man who gave me my first orgasm. To this day he knows who he is because of our Love.

I can't say how it is for man on man love, but from what I have experienced nothing seems to clean the slate, and heal, and transform a man like bringing a woman to orgasm.

Who am I?
You are my lover.
What else is there?

But I think the core of the verse is: He asked, "Who am I?" She answered, "Thou knowest!"
