which is correct? and if the latter way - not using the signs of the enterer and of silence - is correct, would including the signs of the enterer and silence negatively influence the efficacy of the ritual?</p>

<p dir="auto">That first method you mentioned is for use of vibrating Divine Names - for the purpose of identifying yourself (often in conjunction with the assumption of God-forms) with a particular divine idea. Though one <strong>can</strong> use it in the Pentagram Ritual etc., it isn't what's normally taught or recommended. For those contexts, simply touching the center of the drawn figure with your implement and resonantly intoning the Divine Name is what's normally intended. (There are other tricks, but that's the basic point.)</p>
