This chapter brings to mind that it is also important to be aware of other's words directed towards me. Within the vacuum of the unknown, everything has some kernel of "truth," I personally have a problem wasting more time than I need to carefully considering other people's interpretations of my behavior, thinking that there might be something I am not seeing. But... with such limited time and energy caring for a baby/toddler, I've had to drastically cut sources of energy drain, one of which being the multiple outlets of analyzing other people's opinions, judgements, and interpretations of mine and my baby's behavior. There are just too many voices to consider, many of which do not practice E-Prime! So, I am taking this week's reading as impetus to continue insulating myself from the voices of the masses, and focusing on my inner knowledge.</p>
