<p dir="auto">In the very beginning steps, it is best to clear all crutches and distractions, attempting to sit with oneself. As the practice develops and as skill increases, more tools and interests can be employed and explored. "Keep It Simple Stupid" is what I have to remind myself of.</p>
<p dir="auto">Music can absolutely be a form of prayer—Native Americans, some forms of Buddhism, some forms of Christianity all adhere to this thinking.</p>
