July 29 (Fire) Liber LXV, Cap. IV, v. 45
-
This verse and yesterday's verses point to, simply put in my own understanding, the light and the darkness. A good theme for me now as I suppose I'm going through different aspects of this at a much lower frequency than what is talked about in the holy books.
At first glance the polarity bothers me as the concept of "god" for me brings to mind a unity beyond the shifting of the poles. However, as a symbol the figure here is a great conception of light and also of darkness. It is all encompassing and for my mind, i.e. humanity's mind, it is necessary to break everything into pieces as to be able understand each part and the from that form a unity.
It is interesting that in the heart is where the darkness is centered. Saturn, Binah, Time, etc. Perhaps this is an indication of the areas of consciousness being travelled at this time and the scribe's relationship to the Angel and beyond.
