August 18 (Spirit) Liber LXV, Cap. V, v. 14-15
-
**14. All this while did Adonai pierce my being with his sword that hath four blades; the blade of the thunderbolt, the blade of the Pylon, the blade of the serpent, the blade of the Phallus.
15. Also he taught me the holy unutterable word Ararita, so that I melted the sixfold gold into a single invisible point, whereof naught may be spoken.

I went through yesterday thinking about these verses, mostly v. 14, and it proved a bit elusive, but I guess that's what makes it....fun.
The 4 pointy things piercing the aspirant are the letters of ADNI - Aleph, Daleth, Nun, and Yod (from the commentary) however, when looking up the meaning of Pylon I saw it defined as a "support" (temporary confusion with Samekh), a structural support, but it is also a gateway or door. One sword with 4 blades which gives it 5 points and so also may attributed to Spirit. The very essence of the name of Adonai pierces, inserts itself, and unites with the aspirant.
This is happening while the previous verses were being spoken by Adonai where the aspirant was advised on the paths and pains he arrived from, the nature of their love, and instruction on how to approach "...they that despise thee...".
It is interesting, to visualize this and imagine the name of Adonai running through me while being communicated to. A few things hit at different times as part of it is physically forceful with the sword, the instructions/counsel kindle the logic and emotions, and ultimately it lends itself to unity with the innermost aspects of being as expressed with the name.
The "sixfold gold" further references balance, unity, and harmony in Tiphereth and is a significant step in the journey. There is a teaching going here for the aspirant and it seems a preparation for furthering down the path.
