Tonight the sky was clear and the stars looked amazing. People have been looking up in awe at the night time heavens for thousands and thousands of years. What is so special about Crowley and his girlfriend that they should gather my children into their fold: they shall bring the glory of the stars into the hearts of men?

It is Nuit's glory. They are to bring the new revelation to the world so that people capture a new point of view and receive the glory of the infinite in their hearts.
A little more than sky gazing, perhaps?

"This is the great short coming of the materialist's "If I can't touch it, see it, smell it, hear it, taste it, it doesn't exist" philosophy. You lack the glory of the stars when all you are aware of is the "glory of the night sky."

Also, the problem in perception of what stars are, lies within our language. In short, "the Sun" should really be called "The Star" because that is exactly what it is, like the ones in the night sky. If we started calling "the Sun" "the Star" it may help with the goal of spreading cosmic consciousness.

Yes, an important transition from solar to stellar consciousness, though I see little reason not to give particular consideration to our neighborhood star. A Quote from Pearls of Wisdom, Cap.00:
"Ra-Hoor-Khuit is represented especially by the Sun. However, this is not the solar archetype of times past (a ruling father or king, an egocentric idea rooted in the image of the Sun as lord and master), but the Sun as a star â one amid countless other stars in the immeasurably vast universe.
