**Liber LXV, Cap. I, v. 23-24
**
23. Not aloud shall they praise thee; but in the night watch one shall steal close, and grip thee with the secret grip; another shall privily cast a crown of violets over thee; a third shall greatly dare, and press mad lips to thine.
24. Yea! the night shall cover all, the night shall cover all. -
It's a secret
Between you and me
We cannot extract social value
From witnesses
For there are none. -
Those with eyes to see, the ability to see life on this deeper level, will recognize the presence of vitality, of spiritual life, and will value it according to their nature. Those who are brave and ready will connect with it. All of this will happen as subtext, semi-consciously, through life.
-
An adept is unlikely to receive noisy, social accolades, but through more intimate acts of teachers, fellow travelers and lovers, she will be fairly recognized and appreciated. Each will partake in the receptive darkness of nighttime, eager to receive the light.
-
Adept's work silently touches hearts of people, in intimate ways. Those ready for initiation recognize its value, some follow it with admiration, some even dare to undertake walking the Path themselves.
"Yea! the night shall cover all, the night shall cover all." - how beautiful, ecstatic these words!
