I remember reading in an entertainer's biography a quote that growing up they saw their life as a blank piece of paper, pure, until adolescence when some blemish tainted the canvas. Then, due to this, he scribbled and created chaos on it figuratively to cover up that blemish and partly because it felt good to give in and do so. In the face of the "awe-some" one may be blasted apart as Moses was instructed on Mount Sinai. We who approach the path towards ourselves, the true abiding principle within, do so from a life of experience with all the baggage that includes. The path is one we take with reverence. "Wisdom says: be strong! Then canst thou bear more joy."
