Liber LXV, Cap II, v. 50-52
50. I was alone in a great park, and by a certain hillock was a ring of deep enamelled grass wherein green-clad ones, most beautiful, played.
51. In their play I came even unto the land of Fairy Sleep.
All my thoughts were clad in green; most beautiful were they.
52. All night they danced and sang; but Thou art the morning, O my darling, my serpent that twinest Thee about this heart. -
The tumultuous personality mostly stilled, and the mind quiet, the ego finds itself accordingly "alone" in the great park of the psyche.
The green-clad ones are the personality's purified desires - clad in Venus, playing freely, bringing the mind and Nefesh together into a state of intoxication, "fairy sleep." All of the mind's thoughts are wrapped up into this pure vital expression, which is continuous through the conscious and subconsciousness minds.
All of this is swallowed up by the dawning of the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel, more real than the particular forms taken by the natural energy coursing through the psyche. -

Revelry, beauty, love, and play. The imagery is rich in the indulgence of the senses and even an intoxicating sleep. These are fun and a part of the universe to embrace inasmuch is our ability to do so in the context of our lives. These are moments and aspects of our lives. They are fun and provide richness to existence. Beneath this, beyond this, lies the morning of re-awakening and an ever deeper realization of that which exists when all this passes. The serpent is still entwined about the heart. The presence is there, always has been, always will be, and enjoys with us the many things we take joy in with our passage through time. "I am above you and in you. My ecstasy is in yours. My joy is to see your joy."
