The code in Liber AL
-
Sorry if this has been taken up before. I don't have the energy to go through all the material. But...
Several months ago after reading The Book of the Law for the first time I stumbled across an extensive commentary to it and on that site I found a further link to a site belonging to a man who claimed to have deciphered the code that Crowley wasn't supposed to be able to solve. I can't find the site now, but he was some kind of medium and claimed the code made it possible to foretell the future. He used some formula I don't remember exactly, but I know it contained the number 666. It was simple, something like 1/666 = x (that simple at least). When he applied x to the number he wanted revealed (e.g. a lottery ticket number) it gave the correct answer. He claimed to have used it with positive results and apparently put up some of the results on the site from time to time.
Furthermore he claimed to have been visited by (I could be wrong, but) Abramelin the mage, dressed in a red robe with his face veiled (or something), who told him that he would decipher the code and what it would do. He also told him that the world is going to end. He used some arguments on the site, like that this planet was meant as an experiment intended to be carried out in harmony by 10 billion humans. An argument for that was that it takes 10 billion synapse firings to formulate a thought in the human brain.
It seems to me this should be no news to you people if it is anything but rubbish, so can anyone confirm it?
One thing that struck me was that Crowley said in Book of Thoth that we're apparently facing 500 years of barbarism, but I'm not sure when that would start. There are a few other apocalyptic theories out there as well coming up soon: 2012 when the Mayan calendar ends and Terence McKenna's far out theory Timewave Zero based on the I Ching and that calendar, and so on... Something confirmed perhaps by the increase of technology expansion, like the supposed creation of the Singularity. It also seems interesting in this respect to consider that theory mensioned in another thread here on the forum about the Aeon of Maat when time starts to go backward.Anyone who want to help me sort all this out, please?

Yeah, it was Aaron Donahue. I tried to comprehend his "code" but couldn't. Are you sure it was so simple? From what I remember, he never actually revealed the code, although he did show some competely unexplained math scraps of paper that did involve the number 666.
From what else I learned, most people don't seem to take him very seriously. Although, I don't know, I believe he is probably telling the truth regarding his remote viewing and lottery winnings. I'm just waiting for him to explain it. He seems to want to profit from it somehow and is mysteriously hanging onto secrets or something. Hey, if you can win the lottery any time you want, why would you need to profit any other way?

Ah, thanks for clearing that up a bit. It was a little scary to believe his explanations. And I agree with your analyzis as well.
