Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
I wanted to address an inquiry to those on this forum who have managed to get a response from the A.'.A.'. in regard to beginning the student relationship.
There are a lot of occult sayings about this initial meeting, such as "When the student is ready, the teacher appears." and "You get the teacher you deserve," etc. I'm just wondering if these generally appear to be true for those that get in. Was there an incredibly ironic meeting at just the right place and time that led to contact, or did they just reply to email like regular people? How did you know they were the right sort of people?
( I seem not to be able to elicit any sort of response from the Cancellarius, or any one else for that matter.

The guy I met, I met after deciding that I needed to wait for a while and focus on expanding my life in the ways of the law. Which is strange to me, I searched and no luck and then, oh there you are. But, he came in the form of someone I had respected and looked up to at the nearest OTO body. What a surprise to me this was.
