Any opinions on me using a statue of Amun-Re (the god of Hidden Light) to represent Hadit on my own personal altar?

I plan to do this and Amun-Re seems like a perfect fit for Kether and Hadit.

If you plan to do it, go for it.

The choice is yours alone, of course. The opinion I think you are looking for, though, is: Yes, an aspect of the Hidden One (from Amoun to Hades) captures one of the most important aspects of Hadit.

(They aren't the same thing, any more than if you worshipped a Loki action figure to connect with Hermes; but you have tapped what I think is the most important single attribute.)

Thanks for the response Jim. I'm not exactly Thelemic, but I do work with a lot of Thelemic concepts.

          93,

Sounds good to me. It also sounds like this emphasizes Hadit's 'hidden-ness.' Hadit has other qualities such as being the core or center of every star, or - more broadly - Hadit's connection to the Kundalini serpent. I personally think you should go with what you have a felt sense of being 'right,' i.e. follow your intuition and, of course, remember that the image is never the thing 'imaged.'
