The 13-Chakra system

I've been seeing a lot of discussions in other spiritual communities about the 13-chakra system that is emerging in humans in accord with the 'new' energies of earth. These are apparently very new chakras that are appearing as our planet is evolving.
I understand the 7 chakra system in the context of the tree of life. In light of finding the new in the old, and the old in the new, I'm wondering how this 13 chakra system fits into the context of Thelema and Qabalah.
Has anyone had any experience with these chakras? Does the Book of Law allude to any such development?

Not really (speaking for myself). I haven't taken it all too seriously because (1) in theory it reeks of rampant newageism (in the derogatory sense) and (2) in practice it's not necessarily anything new because there are a lot of energy centers, microcenter, sub-chakras, all the way down to acupuncture points. There are a lot of energy centers. Alleging there are more than 7 "chakras-like things" is (inn the broad sense) something already well known.

Spontaneously i thought about this: 9 sephtiroth+4, first 9 normal, then Malkuth split in 4, 1 for each hand and foot
I do use it like this, and some other variant like 12, 15, 40... and some interesting things with the paths also. Like Jim said, there are many many systems you can find out. You can see what works for you.Then i googled "13 chakras" and saw them drawn in the middle path, so i guess that was what you were refering to. I've never tried that many in the middle path. 1 to 7 mostly. But why not.
A good thing with chakras is focusing on their electromagnetic part. As in the tree, first there is the 1, the 2, then the 3... Electromagnetic force is the dynamism inside any element, chakras, sephiroth, the 3 in one, the potent medicine. It is also the secret link between them. A square can be seen as a circle and vice versa. It is a matter of scale, which itself is a matter of perspective. And the other way around too. And an infinte circle, which is also eight.
