**41. The word of Sin is Restriction. O man! refuse not thy wife, if she will! O lover, if thou wilt, depart! There is no bond that can unite the divided but love: all else is a curse. Accurséd! Accurséd be it to the aeons! Hell.
    42. Let it be that state of manyhood bound and loathing. So with thy all; thou hast no right but to do thy will.
    43. Do that, and no other shall say nay.
    44. For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.
    45. The Perfect and the Perfect are one Perfect and not two; nay, are none!

The "word" of Sin (aside from the moral implications one meaning is missing the intended mark, i.e.. the bulls eye, as in archery) is Restriction. This against the last verses colors a possible meaning that to act in restricting the Law of "Will" is missing the mark or missing the goal, in short, missing the point. As an illustration a man and wife and their willingness to be together is given. There is no moral judgement here - do what thou wilt. Love is the force that drives this, a desire for unity, and accordance with the Universe it manifests as, well, in part, the contents of this book. Anything else, you ain't gotta go home, but you gotta get outta here 👿

"42. Let it be that state of manyhood bound and loathing. So with thy all; thou hast no right but to do thy will."

Anything not driven by love strives for division and it just doesn't sound like much fun. The second sentence here as definitive as anything I've read. It sounds restricting - but it is liberty.

"43. Do that, and no other shall say nay."

In doing our will, our innate right, we are not restricted. We still have to work within the confines of existence, but probably more importantly we will not set up division within our selves. In being one pointed our mark shall hit.

The picture I get is more and more of an arrow. Any obstacle the arrow hits without being conceived in the inception of it's release can alter it's flight. The lust of result sets up an opposing fear of attainment. Passionate detachment from our goal leads to us reaching it. The accomplishment is complete in setting out for it if our intent is pure. We have our entire lives to figure out what that really means for us in every moment.

As I read this now I am inclined to view the "Perfect and the Perfect" as each being fulfilling their wills continuously. We are all sourced from the "one Perfect" and thus in doing this we are engaging in the union and love of the universe. Thus, the ultimate dissolution awaits and a consciousness of the continuity of all.
