Does The Aeon have any connection to the true Will? Or perhaps that is a stupid question: what is the connection (in that case)?
I was thinking that the transformation and final step is the only genuinely productive motion, based on the analogy Crowley mentions (is it in the foreword of Liber AL?) about the orbit of a star, if seen from The Objective perspective and pragmatically speaking.
Even if it should be interpreted as the result of doing the Will, it's still obviously directly connected, right? Am I thinking like a good Thelemite about this? -

(1) Yes. All Paths on the Tree have a connection to the True Will.
(2) Yes. The Aeon, or Shiyn, is Fire, which has Will as an attribute. But, having said that, I'm interested in hearing more about the way in which you think this connection exists. It isn't the first attribute about which one normally thinks when reflecting on the card, but neither is it out of bounds.

There are no good Thelemites, only adequate used car salesmen.

Thank you both for clearing it up for me!

I will try to clarify more, but as usual, I apologize for probably not being able to be clear. My best shot:
There is a lot of talk in the Book of the Law about continuity. E.g. egocentricity and self-righteousness seems to me the primary obstacles to it on the universal scale. Micro is a reflection of macro, so anything attributed to my continuity (my path forward as unobstructed as possible) should be attributable to the universe, of course. I thought of the Aeon as continuity itself, which according to me is like saying God is conducting the true Will, because the Aeon is "tremendous/evolutionary change", which obviously couldn't occur without the unobstructed continuity."There are no good Thelemites, only adequate used car salesmen.

"True Will is not only connected to The Æon Atu, but in my opinion it's the Atu's theme. Second to that theme however is that Æonic succession is absent, in that Æon is singular; perhaps referencing symbolically immortality."
This sounds a bit like I'm thinking, but I don't quite follow you at the end here. Do you mean it in the monistic sense, that there is no struggle/strife viewed externally, sort of as a means to fuse with the idea (put the glasses on instead of viewing them in front of you, measuring the lenses angle to predict how it will avert sight = dualism)? In that case I like it. I've lately come to think from a few ideas (e.g. the fact that Hebrew doesn't use vowels) that half of existence must remain a mystery simultaneously with some sort of definition for it to be completely existing.
I had a revelatory experience with that when I pasted the sheets and followed the whole Major Arcana; incredible fusions which seemed to take me universes into myself!@Fra.'. SPQR said
"turning light and turning around illumination (The Rose Cross Formulæ), then we recognize that in meditation we regress, devolve, and retrace consciousness in the reverse order in which consciousness made its way through emanation."
Yes! I would say it's like God, being the cause of the stars which animate life in their illumination, has laid out a blanket for us, which is merely a means to get back again, through the interpretation of it as such. The illusion being that the truth is in the veil itself. Are we speaking the same language then? I mean in short that the way out is the way in, or that out doesn't really exist as completely departed from the very process of in, if you catch my drift.
Isn't this what Duquette means in UACTT when he explains that the Ace of Wands contains all the other small cards (or was it the Minor Arcana?) etc.? -
Btw, maybe it clarifies something if I say that I both don't "believe in God" and do. God I see as nonexistent (dead as Nietzsche put it), but because of that nonexistence gives rise to existence. We come out of something holistic/synergistic that simultaneously is us, since it's all conti-Nuit-y so the original cause is all the causes.
