feeling heat type energy during asana

As you practice asana, the body will throw all sorts of sensations at you to try to disrupt the stasis.
And heat, in particular (if not simply the above), is likely a consequence of some prana discharge through your system. Asana alone can do this sometimes.

Indeed. My face used to twitch rather strangely during asana--the Dragon Asana in particular, now that I think about it. It's just something you have to work through. Keep it up! Eventually all such symptoms will subside.

Ya when doing different asanas I will definitely get hot, sweat and occasionally have shaken almost uncontrollably. It can feel weird but you can work through it. I forget where I read something talking about asana work and your body going through stages when you do it. The first is heat and sweating. Don't worry everything happening is "supposed" to be.

Thanks for all the feedback much appreciated, yeah basically when i first started asana I remember how after 10 mins or so it hurt now my new threshold is closer to the 20 min mark when i get to that zone it starts to hurt and i tense up trying to counteract these feelings and relax more while remaining still, also mind always trys to wander into different directions have to constantly keep it in check. its amazing though now how after 15 to almost 20 mins of sitting still my legs dont fall nearly as asleep as before i can get back up pretty fast and shake off the needle feelings pretty quick.
Also this was the first morning I did the Dragon before drinking any Coffee or eating and it was good my body naturally woke up and even my hunger went away thats another thing i noticed your hunger subsides once in the pose at times.
anyway sorry to ramble about this stuff but its so nice to have a like minded group to talk to about these things as i have no one else to share with regarding this.
