    19. Thou art delicious beyond all taste and touch, Thou art not-to-be-beheld for glory, Thy voice is beyond the Speech and the Silence and the Speech therein, and Thy perfume is of pure ambergris, that is not weighed against the finest gold of the fine gold.
    20. Also Thy coils are of infinite range; the Heart that Thou dost encircle is an Universal Heart.

    I gather the Snake as the glyph of the Snake in a circle eating its own tail and as a symbol of Nuit as the all-encompassing All as well as Nothing. Beyond all senses taste, touch, hearing, and smell. An interesting thing in verse 20 is that it is seen as the snake that wraps around the heart. In previous verses the snake that coils is described as the desires that constrict man. In this verse it is beyond desire and grips the heart of all mankind. It strikes me as the difference between the Moon Atu and the Priestess Atu. The effect and symbolism is different on the differing planes of consciousness. This signals to me that once consciousness is transcended and the Universal Mind is glimpsed all symbolism and all meaning changes.

    This I definitely don’t "get" – but, reading the Holy Books builds this within me to guide me and expose me to the symbolism. I aspire to balance, knowledge, and love. I aspire to throw off all that I am and to release that which I hold on to. It is written in another Holy Book, “If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.” In Terror I can find Joy and in my disdain I can find comfort. I feel that I must destroy the towers that I have built, but only destruction by silence and the contemplation of their negative. Perhaps from the rubble my True Will shall arise.

    In the deep dark waters
    Lies a beast
    Whose arm a are like a snake
    Who coils about
    This beast is older then a NY other living thing
    And eats,
    With a beak
    The ancient whales
    From whom
    We harvest their ambergris

    The sound of the whale is a song
    That is silent to those
    Who can not.....

    I may come back to this after I deal with subsequent days, but the text seems to be describing a simple disconnect between the lesser coils and this greater version of the serpent, between the finite imitation and the genuine infinite article.

    “10. I gazed upon the Crystal of the Future, and I saw the horror of the End of thee.” Is changed to ‘There is no end to thee’ by verse 18

    1. Further, I destroyed the time Past, and the time to Come — had I not the Power of the Sand-glass?

    “19. Thou art delicious beyond all taste and touch, Thou art not-to-be-beheld for glory, Thy voice is beyond the Speech and the Silence and the Speech therein, and Thy perfume is of pure ambergris, that is not weighed against the finest gold of the fine gold.”

    “12. But in the very hour I beheld corruption” is now changed to ‘in the very hour thou art beyond corruption’ by verse 19.

    “20. Also Thy coils are of infinite range; the Heart that Thou dost encircle is an Universal Heart.”
    Yes I think I have something brewing, but I am too tired to finish the brew...
