What is Aiwass/HGA

Aiwass, initially, was the praeterhuman intelligence that delivered the Book of the Law and Crowley was the scribe who received it and recorded it. Crowley later came to identify Aiwass as his personal Holy Guardian Angel. He made different statements at different times about who Aiwass was and mostly regarded "him" as separate being from himself as far as I can tell.
In the Qabalistic Cross Thelemites commonly vibrate AIWASS at their heart center to signify the Holy Guardian Angel, but this is a placeholder name until the aspirant knows the name that they identify with or if they are in public and do not wish to disclose the name they have come to know.

What is the HGA? In the end, you have to find out yourself through your own hard work.
What is Aiwass? The author of Liber Legis and Crowley's HGA.
It is not the 'general angel' but, seeing as how he is the speaker of the Law of the New Aeon, and seeing how his name enumerates to 93 and 418, the name can stand in for one's own HGA until one learns it.
Crowley's Yechidah did not travel to the Sun. Aside from the Yechidah being the immortal identity that is beyond things like the material sun, I have no idea where you heard such a story or why you would believe such at thing except for funsies.
