THE FLUID MOTION OF THE AEONS

"and in god years he is a kid becoming a teenager"
Nope! He's still an infant.
"you may say look what a mess he is making of BABALON AKA IRAQ,"
Oh please don't confuse Babylon with Babalon. Please? Pretty please? As a favor? Wouldja consider it?
Please.
"B. speaking up for the land of [Iraq], what doenst kill you will only make ou stronger."
Resisting to utter a rapid expletive celebrating bovine excrement, I'll just say that you and I have really different views on that. As a culture we should be in profoundl self-abasing shame for the immoral travesty the United States is perpetrating there.
"and in the sea of eternity todays conflicts is only a ripple in 1 small current of the infinite sea"
True... provided you really live with conscious awareness of eternity. If one doesn't, then it's an indefensible fiction and an excuse for apathy. Whatever one's immortal consciousness is capable of experiencing, one's mortality must still live its life in its own time and place, and our duties as citizens are as important and sacred as any duties we bear.
"but at the same times its not of grave importance."
I disagree completely. YMMV.
Among other things, these events severely affect the United States and its place in the world - and the United States has been explicitly crafted by the Inner School for centuries to serve a specific role in the evolution of Earth, as the specific place of development of those things necessary for humanity's social and cultural evolution. The damage to that mission is not inconsiderable, though I'm sure it's still reparable.
"as much as i think we know is this: the next aeon is going to be opposite to this,"
Opposite this? There does tend to be a kind of reversal... but I suspect that it is more like the present one than is usually thought. These two appear to be closely teamed.
"and that aeon is that of our lovely goddess MAAT, who is the judge and is of balence,"
A lot can be learned by watching her as the Hiereus of the present Aeon.
"so therefore i think it is safe to say those will not be elements of out present aeon, at least not in any strict form what so ever."
Since you don't say what those are, it's hard to have an opinion agreeing or otherwise.

i want to say i am not saying what is going on in iraq is right, i very much disagree with us being there, but at the same time, on aeonic level i think it doesnt really matter, its like a drop of water in the ocean.
your right HRU is still an infant.
i am think this aeon will be a aeon of rapid change and also of war, and destruction. but i think the next aeon will be less change and more calm and very smooth. though at the same time i think this aeon of maat could have harsh punishment for those who dont conform to its way.

"i wonder how many people agree with this???? and if not why so???"
Keeping in mind that I read the book as a fool (III: 63), I don't interpret it literally. I see the aeonic transformations as a map of personal transformation. But I also see the Aeon of Horus, not as something that dawned through outside forces or in an objective way, but as something we can work together to create.
So I don't see current global conflicts as indicitive of anything innate to the Aeon of Horus.

I find this fact fascinating and would like to study it in more depth. I know there has been books written on this topic; recently more than ever. I might be showing my ignorance and lack of familiarity with key occult texts, but I sure would appreciate anyone who is able to point out some good open source publications that elaborate on the topic of the U.S. being 'crafted' for a specific role.

I think that is only true in its infantile state. Horus, at root, is strength and light. Strength is in Silence, not in noise. The true fruit of the maturity of the Horus Aeon surely will be a deeper peace, not volatility. We have centuries - perhaps millennia - for that to ripen.

Study the inferred place of America in the Rosicrucian Manifestoes - the private tradition has long been that America was the "child" with which Europe was said to be "ripe" in the early 17th Century.
Then study the the evolution of democratic formulas of government and their parallels to individual and collective freedom. (Notice that I don't flatly equate democracy = freedom ... I don't think it's that simple. But, to date, their evolution has been in close relationship to each other.) With this in mind, read the Confession Fraternitatis in particular to the "erudite" to whom it and, implicitly, the Fama, were dedicated, and the role they given in preparing the new forms of social, ecnomic, political, and thereby spiritual evolution.
Then, seeing all of this in preparation, read the Declaration of Independence and study the Great Seal of the United States.
There's more, but that's enough to see.
Some private papers in my possession discussion the formal transfer of world authority for the Rosicrucian Order to American soil in the mid-19th Century. I have evidence satisfying to me, but not distributable, that one American President at that time was Imperator of the Order.
But the general flow can be seen from published things including especially the evolution of governmental forms.

Jim, thank you for the study guidance. As part of Dr. Case's excellent work True and Invisible Rosicrucian Order I read both manifestoes earlier this year. My intent was to do some extensive follow-up study of the manifestoes as well as Dr. Case's esoteric analysis of these documents. This was going to take some effort as there is a tremendous amount of material covered in Dr. Case's book. Opportunities, and hence other higher priorities have pushed that study to a backburner for the near future. But this is definately something I will take up when the opportunity arises again along with the suggestions you've made in your post.
Your description of the association and inter relatedness of personal and collective freedoms, governmental structure and spiritual advancement could be a life time study in itself. One corollary that struck me immediately was the fact that republics and democractic systems of government was a Greek development. In your opinion, would you link the Greek's development of a democratic form of government to the workings of the Inner School as well? (The democratic ideal for that period of time dominated by totalitarian states seemed to be a fairly radical government type.) Or do you believe the evolution of a democratic government in Greece was independent of the Inner School? If the answer is yes, the Inner School was involved, then is there any aspect of positive collective human development and evolution not guided by the Inner School?

Yes, I would.
In fact, the entire foundation of the structure of the Ruach and the platform for its accelerated development occurred in Greece in a single century.
"If the answer is yes, the Inner School was involved, then is there any aspect of positive collective human development and evolution not guided by the Inner School?"
No, there isn't
In theory, there would be evolutionary stages that humanity passes through simply in the course of nature. But, by definition, the Inner School "gets there first" - consists of those who have already awakened and developed aspects of consciousness ahead of the curve - and have always served as agents of nurturing that in the speces as a whole.

When I look at history and see movements towards greater freedom, I see the state usually fighting it or following late, rarely ever leading. This suggests to me that even if an inner school does exist and tries to guide things through the writing of constitutions, becoming presidents, etc., then they may do more harm than good. Also, explaining progress through an inner school takes away from the amazing accomplishments of those who put their lives on the line to create freedom.
I see the following sorts of folk creating or trying to create the things we associate with freedom in the US: labor unions, civil rights activists, feminists, spontaneous uprisings, slave rebellions, and so on - folk working from the bottom and usually poor or working class. I realize all of these movements had/have their problems and many worked towards their own freedom at the expense of others, particularly labor unions. Regardless, they created suffrage, weekends, safe working conditions, and civil liberties. Despite the Bill of Rights, almost nobody enjoyed substantial civil liberties until probably the 70s - I mean 19!70s. The state almost always turned the police and military on these folks and still do. I have experienced it firsthand. Of course, more than just state fought these things. Average people, whoever they are, and perhaps ourselves have acted to limit freedom for others and often even ourselves.
If we want freedom, then we have to organize, work for it, sacrifice for it, and take responsibility for it. We also have to argue about what freedom means and what meanings of freedom can co-exist. Even if an inner school exists, I won't wait around for them to do something. And without knowing them, I don't trust them anyway. I won't give up my future to any visible government, let alone an invisible one.

I recognized a problem with my thinking in the above post. I assumed that an invisible college would operate through the state, rather than setting up the conditions for the sorts of things I mentioned to take place. That, however, doesn't change my skepticism about both its existence and intentions. It also doesn't change my attitude about continuing on as if they don't exist.
