Seeking help.

Hello everyone,
My name's Joe and I am currently a student in university in pursuit of a Pharmacy degree. Before I continue I must warn you my introduction will be quite lengthy, but I feel it is required so you know exactly how serious I am and it will shed a little bit of light on who I am.
I was born into a Catholic family, and drifted of as an Atheist in my early teens not believing in the metaphysical and the supernatural, yet I was still in search of some kind of meaning in life. I took up Science in school and pursued a degree in Biology and Pharmacy in university convinced that through such fields will be able to make valuable contributions to society. I do not seek wealth, for I don't see it half as valuable as being an effective and contributing force. Upon completion of my studies I even plan on volunteering into the Peace Corps. to offer aid to the people who need it most. In the long run my plan is to have a career in Pharmaceuticals.
Now, I've only had a few encounters with Thelemic resources. My friend jokingly gifted me 777 And The Other Qabalistic Writings of Aleister Crowley I considered it a novelty item when I first started reading it. Upon brief study of the book my interest in Thelema was sparked and I immediatley went to acquire The Book of The Law which I only ended up agreeing with fully. I've been in pursuit of every Thelemic resource I can find. However I feel I am unable to fully comprehend nor appreciate the information presented just on self study. I feel that there is truly something quite extraordinary in the beliefs you hold. Something truly spiritually empowering and enlightning. I can't tell if this is a calling, that I was meant to explore Thelema like how I feel I was meant to study Biology and Pharmacy. I truly believe that your system of beliefs will make me a stronger and more enlightened person.
I currently reside in Alberta, Canada. Where, whether it be close or far, can I go in this province or country to learn more? Each day I learn more of Thelema the more I consider seeking initiation.
Thank you, I hope to learn a lot from the regular posters of this forum.
Joe.

Joe, welcome to the forum and to your new study of Thelema.
First, feel free to use this forum to assist in your explorations. You'll usually get better responses if you ask specific questions rather than, say, "Tell me about X," or "What do you think / have to say about Y?"
Second, there is a Temple of Thelema center in Toronto. Since you said "province or country," I'm mentioning it. Contact information is here:
helema.org/temple_of_thelema/locations.htmlAlso, though it's a bit out of date on things like class schedules, that location has it's own web site which likely has some useful information: otot.org

"Thanks a lot! I'll be sure to get in contact with them soon as possible, I'll be in Toronto for a while before school starts so hopefully I can pay them a visit and get some more reading material."
Excellent. - Please remember that the address is not a drop-in address, but rather a private address also used for Order mailing purposes. I recommend email contact as the most efficient.
