Diaries of 666
-
Are there any published diaries of 666 other than The Magical Record of the Beast 666 & Magical Diaries of Aleister Crowley?

Bits and pieces, and some complete ones. For example, the official document John St. John in The Equinox is the diary of an important magical retirement. Many critical diary excerpts are in "The Temple of Solomon the King" serialized throughout Vol. I of The Equinox (and some of it reproduced in The Equinox of the Gods).

I own "Aleister Crowley and the practice of the magickal diary" with excerpts of the John Saint John in it.
I found this book to be very informative and great so I recommend it!

I published "Liber Tzba", a magical diary of one of Crowley's unsuccessful attempts to give up heroin. This is not the same attempt as that published by Skinner.

I own the book and i found it a great source of inspiration.
John St John is indeed a very interesting read, but so are Achad's diary portions too. -
...speaking of the diaries, I read The Magical Diaries of Aleister Crowley a while back & was puzzled by a footnote Skinner wrote in response to Crowley's mention of Nuit & Hadit...the footnote read something like "...in their(Nu & Had) union is Ra Hoor Khuit whose female counterpart is Hoor Paar Kraat"...I have never heard H.P.K. referenced as being femanine...have I missed something?

93 Lapis,
"I have never heard H.P.K. referenced as being femanine...have I missed something?
"H.P.K. is the passive or silent part of Heru Ra Ha and there for would correlate to the feminine aspect of the God, R.H.K. being active or male.

You won't find them online due copyright issues; I guess the unpublished material is accessible through the O.T.O. IHQ, they are usually very cooperative with indipendent researchers, as the stuff at the Warburg Inst. is very difficult to consult now.
I think that "The Fox of the Balkans" will be published in the next number of The Equinox vol. IV - it was scheduled on IV.2.

Readily available, though, and easy enough to reproduce since it's tiny. I'll give it in the next post.

Memorandum on the Fox of the Balkans
by Aleister CrowleyThis symbol appears in the Yi King, the oldest and most mysterious book in the world. I am the only European with any comprehension whatever of even its divinatory meaning. It is also a frequent occurrence in Jap. Mag. short stories, which may be regarded as mere childish imitation of the Chinese wisdom. The Fox does not occur in Semitic, Scandinavian or Celtic Symbolism at all, as important.
Memorandum on the Fox of the Balkans
October 20, 1924-
Great Kings have always been guided by Magicians, from Arjuna and Krishna in India, Jubai and Mexicans in Ancient history, to Nicholas II and Rasputin.

The Tsar was dethroned almost imminently after he had abandoned Rasputin to his murderers.

In April 1904 I was chosen by the Secret Chiefs of the Magical Organization which supervises the affairs of this Planet to receive and proclaim the Law of the New Aeon.
I got the following permutation from my commission.
I 10, 36 and 38 (making note that scribe is 666) II 21 (compassion to the end), II 53, 58;-60, 64, 65, 70;-74. III 7, 8.
-
From the Winter Solstice '23 to the Spring Eqx. 1924, I underwent a supreme initiation whose object was to fit me for undertaking this commission personally. At one period it was necessary for me to ascend from the most tenuous regions of pure air through a series of vast caverns so devised that nothing human could possibly pass through them into the regions of pure fire. To accomplish this it was necessary that I should be exhausted physically to the utmost point compatible with continued life. I was further furnished with a guide. This guide was a kind which I had never met before in the whole course of my explorations since 1898, of the worlds below the material. It was in the form of a Fox. I was very much on my guard against this Fox and it has only occurred to me within the last two days that the symbolism may have been chosen by the Secret Chiefs who oversaw my initiation in order to indicate to me that I was to take up my new work in cooperation with some other person with whom the idea of the Fox is connected. It is further very noticeable that the Chiefs have prevented me absolutely from carrying on my work on any of the former lines.

I am asking myself whether it is not to be that I am allowed to be the Magical Guardian of King Feadland with the object of restoring the [...] on the lines laid down in the Law of the New Aeon.

93,
Do we have any idea who King Feadland is or was?
