regarding oto minerval initation oath
-
hi,
im new to this forum and i have some questions regarding the oto initation oath. i have been initiated 5 years ago, and part of my oath was that if i ever break that oath [A direct quotation from the O.T.O.'s Minerval ceremony has been administratively deleted. I have left some of Atho's personal interpretations. - J.A.E.]. i read further that the oath explicitly goes down to the generative power. not knowing of this stuff i had to swear, even not knowing what i stumbled into. and i did not give it great attention. ok the problem of the nature of this oath was, that i had to swear it to myself. so crowley said the karma ( or better K A M A ) would go entirly to oneself ( how to resolve that ). to my discomfort he wrote somewhere that a real magical oath can't be broken, you think you can but you can't. -> uff .unintentionally i broke that oath and since then i have some pain down there. but it was also one year completly away and i was absolutly pain free, as i stayed away from all this stuff and focused on the "shown reality".
i made a lot of experiences spiritually, i both tasted the good life energy in cigarette form, and the bad-life energy also in cigarette form. i also created an theory of everything ( omg no one will believe me this shit ) and i "guess" i may be important. i also tried to frame my own reality etc.
and i also have sometime cracks in my reality, im well aware that this is all an illusion. but on the other side im a homer simpson kind of guy who really makes sometimes "fail at failing". i really never studied the occult and beside the 3 times i visited the oto am i very blank-written paper in this topic. so can me anyone tell, if i just overcome this magic oath by my own willpower/other and can crowley be doubted or is this just my fate that my genitals will slowly rot ?greetz

Welcome!
"i have some questions regarding the oto initation oath."
This site has no connection to O.T.O., and the Minerval oath (being part of the Minerval ceremony) is confidential. It wouldn't be appropriate for anyone to discuss the actual contents here. (Accordingly, I've deleted from your original post any direct quotes from the oath.)
"not knowing of this stuff i had to swear"
You knew of it at least a few seconds before you actually had to take the oath. You had the opportunity to stop and not continue the ceremony. (I understand that most people "go on automatic" in these situations, but you've given me the opportunity to sermonize on the importance of being conscious and mindful when taking an oath.)
"to my discomfort [Crowley] wrote somewhere that a real magical oath can't be broken, you think you can but you can't."
That's correct.
"unintentionally i broke that oath and since then i have some pain down there."
Physical symptoms should always be evaluated medically first. It's just foolish not to do that. You may find there is nothing wrong, and that will ease your mind. Or you may find that there is something wrong and you can decide how to treat it.
Some oaths include a clause specifying that a penalty is a consequence of knowing and willing violation. Some aren't. (Compare the Golden Dawn 0=0 vs. 5=6 oaths, for example.) For those that are not so specific, this is still a complicated matter. I'll mention a few points that might be relevant.
(1) There might be nothing really wrong. (You should find out.)
(2) There might be a purely psychological factor - that is, your subconscious mind is the place where the oath first takes root. If you are experiencing guilt or similar conflicted feelings, you should work on the problem from that angle and get clean with yourself on the matter.
(3) There might be an ethical issue (which, except in the most formal sense, isn't really any different from a karmic issue). If you have caused harm, the question to ask yourself is how you can correct the harm you've caused. Hint: It usually takes a much stronger expenditure of energy to right an imbalance than to cause it in the first place.
(4) There might be (my intuition says there probably is) another issue you haven't mentioned. That is, the key part of that oath is betrayal. You should examine whether there is aan additional betrayal that you have committed (probably one that means more to your personal code than the particular oath). If so, then that's where you have to make things right.
"( omg no one will believe me this shit ) and i "guess" i may be important."
If you are still feeling out of integrity, then you're in no place to honestly judge this. Get back in integrity first.

93 ahto,
I can say that there is not much need to 'worry'. Unless you double jumped and took 1st degree on the same occasion.
What I can say is that the Minerval degree (0), is an "Introductory" degree, and that you have no life long, or spiritual ties to the order. Anything beyond that is life long, whether you will it to be or not. Kin of like 'Hotel Caliphornia'
You can check out, but can never leave:-)
I hope this helps.
