Liber LXV & the Dying
-
Has anyone here ever heard of *Liber LXV *being read to the dying (as the inner elements dissolve into one another) in the same way that The Tibetan Book of the Dead has been employed by Tibetan Buddhists?

No. And by then, I think it would be a little late for "Liber LXV."

I beg to differ.
I've never heard of Liber LVX being used in that manner but the reasoning seems sound. I was not sure on first thought whether I would want Liber LVX to be read aloud as I'm undergoing elemental dissolution in the bardo state, as it might disorient me further; but on reflection that might be a good idea since the point of Liber LVX is complete trust in, and ever-closer union with, the Adonai - as the external world dissolves away and the mind is confronted with vast and sublime visions in ever-subtler states of mind.
Steiner states the Guardian of the Threshold - which I read as the Adonai and uniting with True Will - is the Angel of Death:

I just discovered Liber CVI & I don't think one could do much better than that.
