Deities in Thelema
-
Hello good people, my first post here.
I have been looking into the deities in Thelema lately and wondering if you have any good sources online on the subject. If you have the time, I would love to hear your take on this aswell
I am talking about the concepts of Hadit, Babalon, Nuit and especially Therion which I have had trouble finding good information about.

"Thank you
Yes, very nice site, but every time I find an interesting article its almost always empty. "
You’re most welcome Limbo.
Gosh, I almost forgot. IN THE CONTINUUM is an invaluable Thelemic resource. Don't forget, you can put the pdf’s search function to good use. helema.org/publications/itc.html -

No deities really in Thelema, but as you choose. "Concepts," as you say, is the more accurate word to describe Nuit and Hadit and good ole Horus (et al.)-barring Bhakti and other purposeful pursuits, of course. IMHO Thelemites use deities as a mechanic uses different wrench sizes. Love is the law, love under will. "Will" being the key word there. If a particular deity helps you make it "up a step" then you can probably consider that deity worshiped and appeased. No need to start a cult or some bat shit crazy thing like that.
Nuit is matter and its "glue." Hadit is motion. Babalon holds the cup that is the receptacle of the Ego when you are ready to pass that up (you can slit your throat (not literally) into Babalon's cup at once, or it can take a while--no rush).
