Re: the stele of revealing.
Have any attempts ever been made to claim it as a religious artifact or some such thing and thus belonging rightly to Thelema and not the Egyptian dept. of Antiquities (although they do a lot of good)
Was just rereading and thought about this. -

Was just rereading and thought about this. The Stele of Revealing was named thus by Crowley, and in this capacity, it is possible that this stele is regarded as a religious artifact, especially by Thelemites; otherwise, like most stelae, it is simply a commemorative expression in a slab of wood or stone, beloging to no one.

Was just rereading and thought about this.Dare I say...that Crowley should have used the Ritual of Invisibility and acquired the Stele directly after receiving the Book of the Law...and that perhaps said Stele is the rock upon which a Thelemic heirarchy might be established?
Anyone here ever been in the presence of an Ancient Stele? They are talismans of the highest calibre. Potent
But perhaps I am too literal.
