Intuition - timeless?
-
I was thinking about the accuracy of some of my intuitions recently, and how, except for what appear to be direct communications with my HGA (which stand out like sore thumbs), I cannot accurately get times (or locations, I suppose) to go with my perceptions.
Is intuition, normally associated with Binah (I believe) and thus being supernal in nature, understood to be "beyond time" in this manner? This would help explain precognition to some degree.
Of course, I could simply be bad at accurately intuiting information

ooooo what an interesting post! i've often had this problem...i get that tinkling and then... i cant hear anything...or see anything...i look around i go out of the house, trying to find a clue but nothing... it feels a lot like having music playing but turning the sound down...stay like it a while and then turn it off...you feel your body stop reacting to it...
What tecniques and mental paths do you use to find out what the calling is??
i think it would be timeless... you can instinctivly know that "you'll be alright" in this life...the same s you can instinctivly know that the boys went to play in the bedroom a while ago and they are being TOO quiet..LOL..it grabs you out of everything you are doing lol...
I'd love to hear more on your theories?? -
Normally, when I intuit information (it helps me make certain kinds of decisions... I have a background in psionics, FWIW), everything is, er, organized according to how I normally think... except for three main things, as far as I can discern (keep in mind that I'm completely exhausted as I'm typing this, so my apologies if I type something ridiculous and/or unintelligible):
-
There is no sense of anything like "time" to any of my intuitions. Except for communications from my HGA (which, as far as I can remember, have been EXACT), I have been consistently bad at intuiting anything related to time.
-
Emotions are utterly alien to this type of information reception. I have tried to intuit outcomes based on experiencing my emotional reaction at that time in the future (combining emotions with time, a terrible idea!), and have consistently gotten absolutely nothing as far as that goes. Trying to intuit a "yes" or a "no" based on anything related to emotions is totally ineffective. "Am I going to get in major trouble when my boss talks to me later?" Trying to answer that question based on the perception of anything emotive is totally useless - first, I am totally biased, and am fairly attached to one outcome over the other (in addition to actively fearing the latter). Secondly, emotions are just unreliable as far as associating them one-to-one with outcomes - "yes" and "no" will frequently have almost identical emotions associated with them (at least for me).
-
When things get complicated in terms of associating something (like an idea, for instance) with either "myself" or "someone else," things get really complicated. I.e. I will, hypothetically, intuit that something specific will happen between myself and another person, but it's not always clear who does what, or how much my projection/internal representation of this person plays into it as opposed to the "actual" person (the internal representation is frequently much more involved than I initially expect). This leads me to believe that my intuition (or my method of it, more likely) is much more closely tied to "me" than I am normally aware of.

To answer your question about method - I've practiced this to the point where it's hard to explain what I do.
For someone who hasn't been formally initiated, I am fairly good at navigating my everyday psyche, and I go right up to the unconscious mind (whether Nephesh or Neschamah I'm not sure yet) and ask it a direct question. Results are usually fairly accurate, UNLESS 1. I have thought a lot about it previously (meaning there's all sorts of cognitive crap floating around), or 2. I am emotionally attached to the answer.
I've also noticed that my intuition is almost entirely useless when dealing with certain people; Basically nothing I have intuited about my ex, for instance, has been accurate - I have been consistently wrong when my question had ANYTHING to do with her.
I'm guessing this has to do with 1. my relatively unbalanced psyche (as compared to someone formally initiated), and 2. my method.
Also, for major questions, I usually find the answer forming in my mind as the question forms. I take this is as a "higher" form of intuition, possibly touching the Neshamah (like I said, applying these labels is just a guess for me at this point).

I have to hand it to you man, this is most definately the most "usefull" conversation i've ever had in reguards to learning and broadening my veiw and understanding of my own ways - you're far more advance in it than i am, though i feel i'm "gifted" (cringe..sounds lame lol...) with headstarts in some areas of intuitive thought or emotion... for example i realised at about 19 that i was an Empath, it was my Master (he's like my dark mirror..shows me the things about myself that are glaring yet i've never seen before but kinda always knew??if that makes sense) ... it explained so much about my then dissaiated greif or anger that had no way of being sparked by the senarios and timeline it happened in .. once i grudgingly admitted that maybe there was credidence to that, my "blows" came so much intensely, and i had a couple of cases like seeing people out of the window arguing- woke me up in fact- yet Master cant see them??? there's nobody there but a lamp-post?? ..i think maybe that was awakening to the possibility that empathy and emotional stamps were transendant of "time" ... (wow...wasnt going to put in that thought but look at it directly relateto the topic lol...nice, that must be there to inspire somebody grins
Last time i got that calling feeling happen, like i had to sit up and pay attention,i went outside and looked all over the garden, dug with my hands, looked for areas that stood out and nothing... other than noticing a particulary alice in wonderland figurine in my crazy cat lady neighbour has in her kitchen that shook me a little bit (when i dug i sickened myself too.. i pulled up burried cat shit lmao) ... in the end after an egotantrum i decided to leave it be and chalk it up to some form of premonition of importance... i said to Master my bets would be on we'd find something important in our research tonight...and lo and behol we did that tied Jahova's Witnesses directly and prominantly to freemasonry - for us that was a huge deal.
i've rambled now and lost my original line of thought - but i'm interested in learning your method of discerning...with me its like "paths" i litrelly have to make inch by inch that i happen to share with other thoughts and the combination helps me get an idea of the "vein" i'm working in...

Who knows what we aren't seeing? I watched national geographic the other day something about spiders. Specifically the colour the spiderweb appears to humans is clear, white as a cobweb, or no colour at all...but to insectile vision, it evidently appears as brilliant purple/indigo and extremely attractive.
The concept of synesthesia is awesome. I've found that exclusive concentration on mundane objects practiced in various time limits seems to heighten my eyesight and also aids astral work as the image concentrated on tends to appear mentally before sleep.
When an intuition comes to me, I try to hold onto the feeling, concentrating on it as deeply as I can while not acting, not moving mentally. To get the flavour of it so that I can remember and have more. -

How amazing, i did not know this!! (suddenly wants a blacklight to go into the shed with lol)

Hmmm do you mean like the shadow a ballpoint pen makes when lying flat on a desk? or how the light reflects off of it?? (if not i'd like to know it sounds like a fun excercise lol)

i havnt had much luck in pinpointing these feelings, i know they are happening, and i concerntrate on them...like a long breathe in if that makes sense? i have...er.."paths"..for when i'm feeling people, but..its like when its coming from my gut i have none forged, and no "direction" to run with.. Last time it happened strongly i had to chalk it up to that we'd fin something particulary interesting or foundation shattering in our research that night...and we did... but im not sure if thats success or not...im quite hard on myself because there is no room for fantasy...

"its the most tedious excercise I know of. You pick an object or point and you stare at it unwaveringly, you'll get some distortion but focus again and again. Persist for hours at a time.
