Goetic Planetary Attributions

I was wondering if any one here could help me clear up something I was having trouble with. Specifically, why the planets are attributed to the goetic spirits the way they are. For example, Aries goes like this: Sun, Venus, Jupiter (for day time), Moon, Mars, Mercury (for night time).
Please cite columns. I don't see any columns in 777 that say what you are saying they say. (Possibly I've missed it, just need clarification; but it may be a misreading by you. Just want to be sure what you're looking at.)
At first it looked like you were just citing triplicity or decanate rulers, but that doesn't hold up.
In 777 these spirits are equal on the key scale to the trumps. The emperor (28 on the scale) corresponds to Aries, with all three of it's decans and six spirits.
Apparently you're not looking in 777, which was written before Crowley learned that The Emperor belonged to the 28th Path. (777 still lists The Emperor in relation to the 15th Path.)

"I was looking at the table in the back of the Lesser Key of Solomon (weiser edition). For the last column it says "777 key scale", and lists the numbers associated with the astrological signs."
Sorry. I don't have that edition.
"In 776 1/2, each 5 degree part of the decans has it's own column (columns 611-622). What I am confused about, is the attribution of planets to the decans in the Lesser Key. I used Aries as an example because it is listed first on the table printed in the back of the back of the book."
Without that edition, I can't speak to its content. The decanates of Aries should be ruled by Mars, Sun, and Venus, if that helps.
"28 is the position of Aries on the key scale. Six goetic spirits are listed along the same line (of different columns). The tarot card corresponding is The Emperor (28 of column 1001). Also associated with Aries and It's decans, are the small cards that are listed in column 1003 (2,3, and 4, on the key scale). The planetary attributions of the decans for these small cards, are different than the ones listed in the Lesser Key for each spirit."
Yes, each of the Minor Arcana (2 through 9) are attributed to one decanate. The decanate rulership is what you see on these cards in a standard Tarot deck.
"I was wondering where the attributions to goetic spirits came from. Is there an explanation for why they are distributed the way they are? Are the planetary attributions related/applicable to columns 411-424 of 776 1/2 at all?"
Can't say since I don't have the book. Do you mean attributions to the spirits of planetary rulerships, or to the decanates?
