Liber E in the Zelator Grade
-
Hello Jim and all,
In the Zelator task, if I have it right, one is given Liber E and told to practice asana and pranayama until complete success in asana and specific results in pranayama. My question is, how much of Liber E and Liber Ru are actually covered in there? How many of the asanas is one meant to master—just one, or each progressively? Are the other sections of Liber E (testing limits, clairvoyance) not covered by the Zelator (and if not, where in the system)? Is Liber Ru considered completely optional or is one literally meant to work all the way through Liber E and progress through Liber Ru?
Thanks for any insight that may be offered

Essentially right. One has already had Liber E since at least Probationer, and one is also given Liber RV as the larger "framing text" of the pranayama work but - as I said - you're essentially right.

Just one.
"Are the other sections of Liber E (testing limits, clairvoyance) not covered by the Zelator (and if not, where in the system)?"
That one is never tested.

The test in pranayama isn't in how many techniques you've practiced, but in whether you have attained the stage of Automatic Rigidity.
