25 June (Water) Liber LXV, 3:33

33. Come thou, O beloved One, O Lord God of the Universe, O Vast One, O Minute One! I am Thy beloved.
-
The thoughts that flow from today's passage begin to make a different kind of impression.
33. Come thou, O beloved One, O Lord God of the Universe, O Vast One, O Minute One! I am Thy beloved.
...and I will become still, very quiet, and the water that is in my cup will reflect everything, even the blackest illusion. The one thing I never doubted was this: in the space of a measurable inch is infinity. I'm surprised the scribe did not jump in, disturbing the waters with his own thought, and mine, and proclaim that the finite, limited things of sense are the truly great miracles of the absolute. One in all, and all in one...
She/it/all seduces me even in the darkest death Anima of my dreams; and I begin to glimpse the same soul in this demon as in Nuit, and in the consort of Shiva—Parvati and Kali mingled.
My doom is to lover her. Even when I turn away from her I turn towards her, willfully and petulantly choosing her in my blindness, she smothers me in illusion, and she liberates me as well because it is her nature to love.
A Thelemic scholar will have to correct my attribution here, but in the absence of that scholarship, I want to give the beloved of this, the third chapter of water in LVX, the name Babalon! Unsure of how this relates to that other term of the Holy Guardian Angel, it would make me happy to find them to be one and the same.

This verse has long been my mantra, or rather my "prayer of the heart".

I know what U mean! I almost wrote a similar sentiment about it yesterday. I love that line!
