**28. Nor shall it be spoken in the markets that I am come who should come; but Thy coming shall be the one word.

    28. Nor shall it be spoken in the markets that I am come who should come; but Thy coming shall be the one word.

'I' in this context suggests the Hermit (ATU IX)—the one who fashions the image of the radiant god—the shinning star that is the light of his lamp. Is it just that the teacher will not be given credit, or that this is a secret identity reserved for the few or none? And maybe it doesn't even matter. And I can't help but make a connection to those Guru's who charge money for their services—the market place; as if to say, 'you will not find me there.'

'Thy coming' is obvious or subtle. The simple interpretation is that this is Adonai.

The one word can be almost anything. Abrahadabra, Thelema, Achad, the word 'ONE,' Ararita, Aleph, the voice of the silence, the name of ones angel...

**29. Thou shalt manifest Thyself in the unmanifest; in the secret places men shall meet with thee, and Thou shalt overcome them.
    **

the unmanifest is, what? Above the abyss?
The secret places are contrasted with the market. Poetry takes over and the noise and bustle of a marker suggest that the secret place is a place of silence—the desert—the inner space that is created when the person has leaned to withdraw themselves leaving a void that is filled by god.

and Thou shalt overcome them. Is mastery about being mastered?

" Nor shall it be spoken in the markets that I am come who should come; "
This is much like biblical scripture saying don’t tell people openly that I have already come because they think that I should still come.
" but Thy coming shall be the one word. "

What is this word I ask of thee my lord? You tell me yet I listen not.

" Thou shalt manifest Thyself in the unmanifest"
Thou shall speak of me in ways not spoken, so that those that don’t understand will listen and those that listen will understand.
" in the secret places men shall meet with thee, "
Secret places always reside in the heart, but when you combine the heart, mind and soul you get to the most secret place of all which is called ‘not’

" and Thou shalt overcome them. "
with the simpleness of this one simple word.
