    45. So am I, O Adonai, my lord, and such are the waters of Thine intolerable Essence.
    46. So am I, O Adonai, my beloved, and Thou hast burst me utterly in sunder.

    45. So am I, O Adonai, my lord, and such are the waters of Thine intolerable Essence.
    46. So am I, O Adonai, my beloved, and Thou hast burst me utterly in sunder.

For awhile now the text has gone out of its way to invoke Typhon/Tiamet and the myths about this agency. This makes sense in terms of the elemental bias for the chapter: water. As far as Adonai is concerned the text is unambiguous. The text does not attempt to make a comparison, but rather, states clearly that Adonai is the destroyer by using phrases like: thou art...

As for the speaker, the text is a bit trickier because it is careful to use terms like: I am like...
This suggests metaphor—I'm not really 'X' I just look like it in this context.

I'm not sure what to make of this role play on the part of the speaker, but the sense of the nature of Adonai appears very clear: Adonai, thou art Violence, and the soul and heart of Violence! To lay with you is the be stretched on the chopping block.

The theme of dismembering is hard to ignore: Thou hast burst me utterly in sunder.

Contemplating disintegration a whole slew of questions assail me: What dies? What suffers? What is left of the individual after the autopsy? And I realize I don't have as much information as I would like at this point about what is actually implied by this destruction.

However, by contrast, the emotional effect of this fantasy is salutary. It is simply liberating to think of the absolute eclipse of the self...

    Love and Will

I find it deeply frightening... and yet intoxicating, arousing.

In an asian accent I shall consider your proposal. 👿

Many subtle Inception jokes are running through this conversation 😆

    "What dies? What suffers? "

    Where's the scribe?

"What is left of the individual after the autopsy?["

Possibly nothing but possibility and nothing
