AA lineages chart?
-
I am curious if anyone out there has composed a "family tree" of the various AA branches. I don't know how taboo it is to actually list them all here - given it being a TOT site - but I would appreciate a link or something if such a thing exists. This is really just for personal curiosity, I don't plan on joining any of them any time soon. I have read Gunther's book, and the intro. cryptically mentions 3 fraters putting that branch back together - I can't find any info. on who they are/were or how they got "empowered" to do so. (So to come clean, I guess I'm most interested in the mysterious AA branch of Gunther - feel free to delete the thread if this is not for discussion)
EDIT: while I'm on the topic, a GD lineages chart would also interest me.

From thelema.org:
"Various lineages have survived. Claims are periodically encountered that one individual or another is an authentic link to A.'.A.'.. Some of these claims are quite real; some are honest mistakes; and some are fraudulent. It is not our present purpose to play arbiter to these claims, to upraise one or knock down another. It is a universal truth of Initiation that each student, at each step along the way, gets the teacher he or she "deserves," based on the real maturity and needs of the soul; and that while sometimes spiritual growth is fostered by finding the BEST teacher, at other times it is best fostered by lessons of discrimination taught in the School of Hard Knocks.
In this matter we give but one sage piece of advice: "By their fruits shall ye know them!" The Works of the Adept, the fruits of his or her garden, are the signs of his or her attainment."

I've seen a poster that does something similar with yoga lineages, I remember being very impressed with it at the time and wishing I had gotten one to hang in my office. It took the form of a great tree with named branches and twigs and lots of contemporary names of movements as the leaves.
Still, I too think something like this for the AA would be very informative, putting the field into some sort of perspective without the necessity of doing all kinds of extended research oneself. I suspect the AA tree would be something more akin to a saguaro cactus! I would even be willing to pay a reasonable amount for it if it were well designed!
