I know that before writing to the Cancellarius you're expected to own physical copies of all books on the student syllabus. I've read/heard conflicting things as to what counts for The Equinox, is it just talking about volume 1? I've heard some people say that Gems From the Equinox is an appropriate substitute, is that correct? I just want to make sure I've got the right stuff before I start seeking admission. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
