        It's a good verse to meditate over, when pondering New Year's resolutions... 😆

          This verse sets up for the verses that will follow by declaring the truth of this particular point of view. The principle in us that has authority, the "righteous" part of our being, has always been and will always be righteous; the same goes for the lower aspects of our being. Yet there is no judgment nor hatred in this line - just a simple statement of fact.

          I'm reminded to not hate nor reject the lower, as-yet unbalanced parts of my being, but to see them for what they are and not look to them for guidance. That's not their role, and they suck at it.
