May 25-27, 2014: Ten of Cups
-
SATIETY
(Previously called, “Perfected Success.”)
Ten of CupsMeditation Pattern: Place Atu XVI, The Tower, and Atu XVIII, The Moon, side-by-side, with the 10 of Cups above them.
Traditional Description: A bunch of water-lilies or lotuses, whose flowers pour white water into the ten cups, overrunning them all. The uppermost cup is tipped sideways, and pours water into the left-hand upper cup. A single lotus flower surmounts the top cup, and is the source of the water that fills it. Above and below, the symbols Mars and Pisces.
Malkuth of Water: Matter settled; complete good fortune. The pursuit of pleasure brought to success.
Mars/Pisces: Permanent and lasting success and happiness, because inspired from above. Not so sensual as the “Happiness” of the 9 of Cups, yet almost more truly happy. Pleasure, dissipation, debauchery; quietness, peacemaking. Kindness, pity, generosity, wantonness, waste, dissipation, craving for drugs, lack of self-control, unreliability in romance; all according to dignity.
Malkuth + Mars: Sensuousness, intractability, a fondness for material things. Potentially avaricious and vindictive; yet also capable of a vital, energetic, successful way of living the practical life in the world.

- Hot water... (it comes boiling!)
- Fulfillment of emotional desire.
- Strong subconscious drives and impulses manifested on material plane (could be either painful or pleasurable).
- Penetrative-ness and aggression of the soft principle.
- A “full cup” (drawback: nothing more can be poured into it).
- Fiery idealism expressed through practical, particular deeds.
- Continual devotion; being conscious of own actions as Service for the Highest.
- Zeal and self-sacrifice in following an ideal.
- Energized, enthusiastic approach to that which is perceived as Ideal; strong will to manifest the Ideal, intentional use of own emotions towards that end.
- Post-coital state, sexual organs still conjoined, energies of both partners “melted” together.
- Appetites, all of them! especially: touch, food.
- Blood that flows in His name (may be spilled, but the main point is that it flows inside the body, picture of life pulsating for that which is Transcendent)
- “Secret enemies”, one’s own inner obstacles: inner factors of destruction, addiction to the partial, transient, etc.
- Soft and adaptable on the outside, vehement force on the inside.
- To give all of oneself, to be able to die for the Ideal; a practical contemporary mystic, whose existence is dedicated to the Transcendence in every breath, with every cell of his/her body. Parambhakti in every-day reality.

Day one
I'm getting the impression of the energy of a wild night out. It's aggressive, fast paced, full of highs & lows.Day two
A creative cycle, cheap thrills, short lasting fulfillment, emotional indulgence that is counter-productive to the situation, emotional payoffs of an addict (of food, drink, sex, etc.) intoxication - divine or temporal depending on the dignity, satisfaction of base emotional drives. Pregnancy. Also only worked on this card for 2 days. Oy vey
