Why say "within" and not just call KCHGA "adepthood minor"?

"I'm wondering what subtle reasons could be behind this detail of vocabulary. To me it just seems confusing with no reason."
I think it's primarily historic, i.e., how things developed over time.
At first, Adeptus Minor in A.'.A.'. was defined as the grade wherein you undertook to attain to the K&C of the HGA. Grades past 5=6 weren't thought through very well, and (speculation:) I think Crowley originally considered that one who succeeded in this had completed the task of 5=6 and went on to 6=5. If (as I suspect) this is true, then later insight gave greater wisdom in the matter.
In any case, it became obvious over time that the 5=6 grade centered around the HGA whether in the approach or in the fulfillment. No rushing it to 6=5 (a mistake Crowley made a few centuries earlier).
"It would be much simpler and clearer to call one an "adept" only if he has attained KCHGA. What do you think?"
We do have a clear distinction here: An adept (one who has completed the work of Dominus Liminis) is awake in Briayh.

Thanks ! It's clearer now.

Could you say a bit more on this?
I'm currently re-reading your "the mystical..."book and i'm having trouble to understand this quote(i think it is somehow related...?):
""kelley, grasping at 6=5,failed to get much of the result of the 5=6 attainement of the previous incarnation, so (a subsequent incarnation)lived a nameless mystic life, going through all the trances and reaching vie unitive at about 22 y old"p133
And what does exactly means "nameless mystic life"? What about "vie unitive"?
I guess it relates to this(maybe you could precise how):
"the 6=5 grade confers a general mastery of practical magick power"Thanks

Yes, it does relate to that. (Vie unitive is the life lived within the communion.)

He lived a life as someone unknown, drawing no particular attention, simply abiding in quiet communion with the angel (or something like that). that is, his whole incarnation was devoted to 5=6.
"I guess it relates to this(maybe you could precise how):
"the 6=5 grade confers a general mastery of practical magick power""Indirectly. (Or, I guess I could say: Not directly.) Could you ask a more specific question (if I haven't already answered sufficiently)?

It was the whole sentence i did not understand
So now this part remains unclear: "kelley, grasping at 6=5,failed to get much of the result of the 5=6 attainement of the previous incarnation".
What does this mean exactly? "grasping at 6=5"? "the result of the 5=6 attainement"?

Shooting for great power rather than abiding in the embrace of the Angel.
It sounds like he missed the Path of Meym, and therefore misperceived in Lamesa. (Guessing.)

Curious what U noticed.
