So here we are at the close of the second run of the Liber Theta Tarot Meditation Project!
It's been quite the journey.
Special thanks to Jim for making the Liber Theta document available, a thank you to the HeruRaHa community.
Lastly, I want to give an extra heartfelt, superly duperly, 'words can't even really do it justice' THANK YOU to Danica for not only being my partner but for totally taking the torch and running with it. This project would have died without you girl, so thank you for being 100% up for the game, for being un-waveringly committed to completing the project and for being an invaluable source of inspiration, wisdom and insight.
We're going to keep the project up for people who would like to jump in and start or for people who have started and are still in the process of completing it (like myself ha!)

Indeed it was!

Reef, thank you for sparkling the initial fire by starting the project again. I truly enjoyed it and learned a lot through it. Even on days when it seemed like I'm "getting nothing" from the meditation, the very time set apart to just be present & open for the personal communication-of-a-sort with a card is a valuable experience.I encourage people to individually do the whole meditation project, regardless of whether they want to share notes with the forum here, or not; if nothing else, it's a great way to gain personal, experiental (rather than just theoretical) insight into Tarot.

Thank you all for making this contribution to the community. Your project archives have become one of my go-to references when studying the Tarot.

I was curious as to who wrote the 1-2 sentences preceding the Major Arcana cards.
E.g.,
โIn the silence of thy Night, Thou art beautiful, my Silver One, dancing, O my Golden One, ablaze & forth pouring the unending river of the stars. Let me die in thy stream of the many, of the none.โ
All these descriptions are simply stunning and are some of the most beautiful examples of writing I've seen. They certainly sound like Crowley... Yet curiously a Google search never brings up anything. Are these from a private Crowley document, something from the GD, or a modern addition? Did someone on this project write them??

Those are from a work I wrote called Liber Amoris vel Calicis, which was first published in Black Pearl and reproduced in my book Pearls of Wisdom.

Wow. I've never seen you write like that, Jim! I guess you don't whip out the poetry on the forum that often
You wouldn't happen to know off the top of your head what issue of black pearl it's from, would you? If not, I'll see if I can dig through the zip file. Maybe it'll let me CTRL+F it.

Oh, that worked out. It's issue 2, for anyone who's interested.

Thanks for the wow Yeah, generally nobody's business that sort of stuff. (Same with the T.'.O.'.T.'. rituals and other private stuff.)

Fortunately, I can look in the table of contents of Pearls of Wisdom and see that it is from BP No. 2.
From the extra introductory text in PoW:
"Liber Amoris vel Calicis (โThe Book of Love, or of the Grailโ) was written as part of my 7=4 work. I began by meditating on the three letters spelling the sephirah name Chesed: the first three verses refer to these letters, respectively. This established a particular psychological state (a Briatic awareness concentrated upon the Holy Guardian Angel as love). While in this state, I simply brought to mind each Hebrew letter in turn, and the text of a verse flowed spontaneously through my mind to my pen. At the very least, it was a splendid practice of wedding Gรฑana Yoga with Parabhakti Yoga. The fruits (expressed in these 25 verses) have served me well. I am happy to share them with you through this book, as I did in BLACK PEARL No. 2 under my 7=4 aspiration name, Prometheus."

So it was almost like a channeled work? That's intense! I knew there waa something special, almost preternatural, about them. I'm planning on memorizing each one as I go through the trumps... They really inspire me to get into the energy of each card. It was a good call to have them at the top of each Liber Theta trump meditation.
