Tarot Meditation – Fortune
Golden coins falling down, behind them black veil of Nuit infused with mirror-work of stars. They fall and form golden lands of the Mediterranean. Smell of grapes pervading the landscape; dancing maidens playfully running in the lush green gardens wearing flowering wreaths in their long dark hair, dressed like Greek Muses – soft, clean, light, white fabric with golden belts and jewelry, turquoise stones ornamenting their ears. Everything is abundantly offering of its essence: the trees bear fruit, the lush vines are swirling around, revealing deep-purple sweet ripe spheres that pour out wine from their center. The smell of salt water is in the air and the fish playfully disturb the surface of the ocean; green olives simmer in the sunlight and the crickets sing along with gentle breeze that tickles the cheeks of a smiling Muse.
Young gorgeous men frolicking around, playing hide-and-seek with the maidens. Krishna plays his flute and the peacocks gracefully display their aesthetic glory while voicing deep satisfaction of this graceful moment. Pan passes by with his lyre. The vibration of his string syncs with vibrations emitted by the dimension of time which remains in the state of suspension. This vacuum of time reveals the joy of eternity, the joy of being unbound by conditions of space-time continuum. This pocket of vibration in the midst of the great cosmic soup invites with its golden song, with its rain of wine-dew, manifesting abundant celebration of Gaia who is the daughter of the Universal Architect.
Venus walks the path made of pearls and enters her bed of ocean waves; her red hair a net that gathers fish into her fold, offering the feast of the fruit of the sea. She displays her naked beauty and splendor to Geb.
And every being that enters the void of song and dance, enters this very bay of freedom and joyfulness, replenishing oneself for an instant before again returning to toiling in one’s course. But to toil in song and dance is to toil with joy; and to make one’s work fine art and to make one’s workshop a pleasure dome is to make offering to the sweet Goddess. In such life lies great freedom and infinite interconnectedness with the Most High. -
Recommended practice for today: Master the three Gunas.
(If nothing else, just listen to St. John of Liverpool and sit "watching the wheels go round and round.")
