April 12 (Earth) Liber LXV, Cap. I, v. 2-3

Always most interesting to me that this is Hakh'mah speaking to Biynah. So many, many things expressed in that... (It even begins in a verse numbered 2, and bridges to verse 3.)

From what I understand V.V.V.V.V. is a Master of the Temple and Adonai is the Holy Guardian Angel (Angel). Though Knowledge and Conversation with the Angel is categorized in Tifereth the Angel is of a much higher order instructing the Master. I picture them high up on a high hill, maybe a mountain, looking down at creation, observing the manner in which manifestation is established. Many are probably familiar with the verses, "In the beginning was the Word..." "And the Word was made flesh...". Breath is the beginning of manifestation in Tarot in the Fool card with its correspondence to air amongst other things. Aleph itself looks like it all it needs to do is spin a little and it would create a flow of air just from its movement.
The word being expressed out from the gestation of the mind is a specific form of manifestation. It necessarily is divided in that a word can never express the fullness of existence. The word is meant to encapsulate a specific idea no matter how broad and powerful it may be. Our experience of manifestation can be thought of in terms of light and its different vibrations in the form of sounds, colors, and physical substance. The Light from the One Source is undifferentiated, however moving down into manifestation V.V.V.V.V. is shown the many colors that filter out through the prism of creation.
It is easy to say everything is "One", all is "One", everything comes from "One" - but the way we experience it in manifestation is in division and by the "Many". Nuit is "divided for Love's sake" and thus by our recognition of Nuit as the entirety of the Universe while simultaneously observing and embracing the many different parts we may come closer to really knowing what this Love is.

I hadn't thought of it in terms like this. Very cool.

"there must ever be division in the word" This is out of necessity. (Many foolish people don't or can't understand this and so see the differences between religions and schools as evidence of "fabrication," when in fact it is evidence of the—however partial—truth in them.)
"the light is one" Since there is duality in the lower planes, the One Light is expressed therein through the "divided word."
In this is beauty of the Lord above; beauty in the colors, beauty in the light.
