April 21 (Earth) Liber LXV, Cap. I, v. 25-27
-
**25. Thou wast long seeking Me; thou didst run forward so fast that I was unable to come up with thee. O thou darling fool! what bitterness thou didst crown thy days withal.
26. Now I am with thee; I will never leave thy being.
27. For I am the soft sinuous one entwined about thee, heart of gold!
** -
In thinking about this I was taking this as V.V.V.V.V. speaking to the Angel - but peeking over at the commentaries it looks like a lost track a few verses ago.
So - this is the Angel speaking to Adonai I gather now and it tracks to me. The inner truth within us is persistent. It's signal is always being transmitted. We may not, with our waking consciousness, be able to attain a perfect union with it at all times, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. In our running back and forth, in our searching, in our bouncing up and down on the see saw we sometimes lose track that the highest truth is always there. This causes some sorrow in feeling that we don't have what we seek.
In finding this, I gather, we only wish to remain in its embrace, in sweet sublimity.
