"28. None, breathed the light, faint & faery, of the stars, and two."
I've come to look at this verse like a cosmology. We start with None, nothing, no thing. Then nothing does something, there is movement which is breath from which the Light is created. "Let there be Light" and all that - a sort of genesis. "faint & faery" did the Light proceed to which it formed the stars whose nature is of this primal Light. At this formation there were then two instead of none.
Not completely attached to the line of thought, but thought it was interesting.

One of the best known verses of the book with so much meaning that it could be applied to every moment of life. Love is the law that put in motion the seeming division of Nuit by her will. An aspect of Nuit is to unify us to her and moving through life with this idea really does flip some things out. It's all Her - whether we like it or not.

Our separateness from the Divine, i.e. ignoring the whispers and slaps from Nuit, just result in pain. Yet, this is part of the creation of the world and compared to realizing our Unity in Her they are bumps in the road we never felt. The knots in the head may be aplenty, just keeping going...
