**3. In the sphere I am everywhere the centre, as she, the circumference, is nowhere found.
    4. Yet she shall be known & I never.

Geometrically, verse 1 makes a lot of sense. Where space is infinite there is no circumference and the center can be anywhere, the center is everywhere. It is in the heart of man and woman and though the light shines brightly, its source is secret. We can see the conglomerate of what this means - the universe, the world around us, buildings, trees, etc. We see the starry heaven, like the lights of Los Angeles from a great height, but the source of light within each soul stays hidden. The detail, the concentrated things that make us who we are, they are hidden even from ourselves. It is beyond our intellect, beyond what we can "know", and yet exists.
