"1. Abrahadabra; the reward of Ra Hoor Khut.
- There is division hither homeward; there is a word not known. Spelling is defunct; all is not aught. Beware! Hold! Raise the spell of Ra-Hoor-Khuit!"
The first word of the chapter implies the goal - the end result stated right from the beginning. The word, amongst many things, implies unity and in this context it is the unity of Nuit and Hadit. The next verse then emphasizes division towards home. The thought that comes across is "Hey, we can't go back that way, that's where we came from, onward into the unknown, all my former interpretations of understanding are no good now, pay attention! it gets bumpy out here!" Not surprisingly, as it is my interpretation, this fits my life pretty well right now. "Raise the spell of Ra-Hoor-Khuit!" I take as the instruction on what to do so to speak to thrive.
