Some confusion about Hadit
-
In Liber AL, Nuit says that Hadit is the manifestation of Nuit. I understood "manifestation" to be essentially an active process, thus Hadit is that active process.
"Every Man and Woman is a star". These "stars" are manifestations of Nuit. At the centre of every star is nuclear reaction driving the core of every star. I've interpreted the "core" of the star to be Hadit, and not the star itself.
We are instructed to worship the Khabs. Hadit later explains that the Khabs (which means "star") is his house. Specifically he makes it clear that this house is not an extension of him.
"I am not extended, and Khabs is the name of my House"This is what confuses me. If Hadit is "Kether", all emanations come from that point. Including Tiphareth. These are all extentions of Kether, no? I'm assuming the star/khabs is referring to Tiphareth. How is it that the Khabs is the House of Hadit, but not an extention of Hadit?

I'll take a crack at this. It's a good question.
I think of Kether as not just being Hadit, but as being the union of Nuit and Hadit in that point, if that makes any sense. The resulting emanation of the Sephiroth is the result of their union, not just Hadit extending energy. (From His perspective, it's all Nuit.)
Once anything is "extended," it's no longer Hadit by definition.
I think the Khabs falls into this category - a Star that results from a particular union of Nuit and Hadit, which Hadit can then "inhabit." Or rather, the consciousness of that Star can look inside itself and say "yeah, Hadit is in there, at the core."
I think all of these things would look different (maybe unrecognizable) from Hadit's perspective, strictly speaking - they're all from a much lower perspective, beneath the level of the Khabs, since we're instructed to worship the Khabs.
Hopefully this gave you some useful thoughts to munch on.

He is not extended.
That doesn't mean he doesn't have extensions. But, within those extensions, he is not extended.

It is an extension of Hadit. All of a person's manifest reality is light in extension.
