Student Test -
Student Testall i can say it i think it was the hardest test i have ever taken.
none of my business, but why not just write the A' A' and take the test? -
Star Rubyme babbling again.
a misunderstood ritual is worthless.
unless the symbolism can be clarified, and the order determined, why bother?
LRP works fine for me.
hell, a self made ritual would be better, and would work. -
paths of love, weath and vengancethe table of the demons of the Goetia and their corresponding tarot cards are wrong, in my humble babbling opinion. tread carefully.

The making of a probationers robe.thatnk you Jim.
once again just what i needed. sounds easy enough. i was really worried about this. lol. figured i wold end up with three sleeves and looking like it belonged on something out of a Lovecraft book.
-
The making of a probationers robe.that isnt the blind. i cant really say anything else about it.
once again i put my foot in my mouth.
the main thing i'm looking for is a good template to make a probationer's robe from. i'm not much of a seamstress.
the blind isnt what i was was trying to find out, or even really say anything about, except to say that i am aware of it and that isnt an issue in the making of the robe. -
Emptiness and Mathi really dont know if i can help at all. but i think that you are right on about the cup being a cup because of it's different attributes combined that we decide to call a cup. i believe there can be emptiness of a certain thing, but it's a subjective emptiness. i dunno if i am making sense.
as for God-forms, i dont know much about it but since one god always has it's corresponding god in another culture, i would say use the gods u r comfortable with. just translate the egyptian god into it's corresponding god that you are more comfortable with and use that, i guess. essence of a thing is it's "cupness" i guess one could say. kind of just a convention needed because of how we percieve things. i mean essentially everything is just energy, and there is no reason why one couldnt transform one thing into another. i know i'm just babbling here, but i'm tryin.
probably someone else can come up with a better answer. -
The making of a probationers robe.yes, that is all the pictures i have seen, too.
but there is a blind that i am aware of.
i may be wrong.
i cant really say anything more about it. -
The making of a probationers robe.ahhh.
havent looked at that one yet.
i just know most of the pics one finds on the net has a blind in it. -
Liber XXVIIIthank you Jim.
kinda figured that was gonna be the answer.
lol -
workings and spells of success and well .... moneyjust a personal opinion, but i think that designing one's own ritual, no matter how crude, is more powerful that a ready-made one, IN MOST CASES. just an opinion.
i mean the symbolism has to have meaning to you, and make it so everything involved points and concentrates your will on the desired goal. -
The making of a probationers robe.I am currently trying to procure the things needed to make my probationer's robe. i'm not very good at sewing (the gods only know what this thing will turn out looking like )
anyone know a good general pattern to go but when actually making the thing?
the symbols i am not worried about, just the robe.
i am aware of the deliberate blind in all the pics one can find of the robe, and can procure the correct symbols. -
Liber XXVIIIJim i know that you probably cant say, but i wondered what the decision to initiate a probationer with that ritual is based on. cand you describe it in a vague way? (not the initiation, but the requirements the decision is based on.)
i also wanted to thatnk you for putting the first six chapters of your book on the S.Y. on here. i dont have time to read over them until tonight, but in my opinion that book is essential reading for anyone interested in magick. the more i read, the more i am convinced that to get a real understanding of the Qabalah, the S.Y. is a must. -
Feast of Airpenny royal tea.
penny royal is associated with air. -
the Magickal diary: what all should be included?thanks kuniggety,
that was what i was thinking, but i wasnt quite sure.
i'm still stumbling around in the dark a bit while i wait to meet my neophyte. i figured i would go ahead and get started on the Great Work, and i'm not quite sure about a few things and this was one of them.
fraternally,

the importance of mastering Liber E.i understand and wish to revoke the question.
i suppose i just want to go too fast, and my will is to take it slow, no matter what delesions of grandeur i may have.
lol
and i see what you mean. the whole point being a test and a chance for me to explore.
as always, thank you for the right answers at the right time.
Fraternally,
Patrick -
the Magickal diary: what all should be included?Liber E does.
i've read John St. John and still i'm not sure if one should include small observations and thoughts throughout the day. i thiink in John St. John, he does though.
thanks th3fall3n777, your advice is always appreciated. -
the importance of mastering Liber E.there is my problem. i am strongly drawn to magick and not so much to yoga, but i feel like i need to get control of myself better so that i can perform magick better. but you are right, it is a matter for each individual to choose.
i have a good question for u though. now when i take my oath i have a year of work to do, and i know i should do all that i am led to do. the problem is that i feel like it would take a good six months to get any serious attainment just from Liber E!
maybe i am being a perfectionist here. basically my question is this:
before i have made much headway in all of Liber E, is it wise to practice the other things assigned a probationer?
i know i should acquire as much experience as possible so that i can better help any probationer i may be assigned once i reach Neophyte, but i want to make sure that all that i do i do well. -
the Magickal diary: what all should be included?i have been thinking about this for a while. does one just put down the results of rituals, meditation, and other activities, or should one include thoughts and realizations that occur throughout the day?
mainly i am referring of the diary a probationer has to keep for one year. -
the Sefer Yetzirahi just wanted to add that the further i get in this book the more i would say it is ESSENTIAL for serious study of the Qabalah, and all rituals are based off of the Qabalah.
just my opinion, but a very strong opinion.
