I was just curious because recently someone was telling me that Gnosticism is the root of all true spirituality and Christianity, but that is far from my path....the idea seemed really loaded.
I'm sure that folks from all over the world have their ancient stories on connection.
I had googled it, but figured it would be more fun to talk to y'all...hi Jim!

What happens at a gnostic mass?
I have heard it is a ritual not to be missed...what about gnosis seperats this mass from others?

I was wondering what are the views of death from a Thelemic prospective? Also when death is sudden and tragic, do souls linger?

While the conversation here has been intriguing, I am confused how this all pertains to "gratitude in magic" as per the OP.

Hi folks, thought I'd throw in my two cents, ...
as I understand the like-treats-like thing ...be it good, or be it bad, it's kinda like a reflector. So if I am grateful in my magick, I trust that it has already worked for me, I am showing gratitude in the extent that my desires have been made manifest, I am offering love to the Goddess of my working, by bringing gifts of gratitude from the heart, things like... milk, honey, flowers, hand made crafts... or items directly related to the work. I give freely and* know* she will freely give back.

Greetings! was whipping around the internet and ran into you folks. I am a witch, who really like plants.
Have been flying my broom for about 24 years ...18 of them with a coven.
My parents had me hiking and camping before I could crawl so that has really stuck, I also draw and do sculpture, among other artsy things.
I like researching the green growing things, and would someday love to open a wildlife sanctuary and botanical garden. I love the Moon, and I am somewhat of a fanatic for blending incense.
I'd like to thank Mr. Jim for having me here, have been to many of his public Rites and always come away with a renewed sense of spirit.
