When J Daniel Gunther is first introduced , Wasserman writes that he first became aware of him through Weiser were Gunther made himslef known as an AA contact point, and after corresponding with Motta he accepted him as a superior. My question is what was the nature of Daniel's original claim as an AA contact point in the USA? I had always assumed that Dan had been initiated by Motta, but it seems like Dan was already an AA member befor even meeting Motta, but sthere is no explanation of the nature of the original claim anywhere in the book. How was Dan a contact point for AA and when he had not met or written to Motta yet? Or was his claim entirely self appointed, which I'm starting to think as it s not addressed in the book.

I am in the OTO and also a freemason, living in the UK.
IMO both practices will inform eachother and you will also appreciate the OTO rituals on different level as you can see what Crowley changed and why...the differences are most illuminating...

If you do get your group going, for fecks sake dont call it the AA...youre making a complete fool out of yourself.....why not call it "Insert Name of Order: an order aspiring to he AA path" etc.....you must be honest and let people know that your authority is not chartered, it is assumed. ..by you.

A friend of mine is experiencing actual Poltergeist phenomenon in his new place.

Music playing through his unplugged hifi system...glasses flying around targeting him and smashing.....doors violently slamming and generally things moving whe they shouldn't.
His live-in girlfriend is menstruating. theyve lived there for 11 days now.

Since moving in they watched 4 horror films ion a row and hve also been arguing a bit lately,

Thay are both terrified and have spent thew lats 2 nights away.

I am going in tonight with with 2 trusted magicians.

Any advice or ideas?

I got salt, sage and a plan to banish the whole place using LBRP, LBRH and the GBRP....does anyone think i should use goetic style techniques? ie Bornless One and then License to Depart?

ASFIK pretty recent.
Volume 3 Number 10 of he Equinox lists HBeta as X degree...so I assume after OTO International was formed they introduced the XII as the defacto OHO degree. Although i could be wrong.

This degree structure was and is in use by the SRIA (Society Rosicrucian In Anglica) to which you must be a master mason and a christian to join.
Mathers and the GD founders were high grade officers within SRIA and used the degree structure for the GD which was adopted by Crowley for the AA.

In the lineage i belong to there are only two actual temple initiation ritiuals anyway..OTO has a ritual for every degree.. AA doesn't (at least in my experience)

The Lion and the Serpent is known in OTO circles to mean SPERM.
If one understands the the Mass as 9th degree operation then it all becomes quite clear. DEATH is the destroyer, and so therefore the SPERM (Life) destroys death.
